Euan’s Guide – 3 years improving access info
Euan’s Guide was created by powerchair user Euan MacDonald and his sister Kiki as a way for disabled people and carers to share and discover accessible places to go. It is intended as an alternative to the hours spent making phone calls and searching for access information online before visiting somewhere new – and last week, it celebrated its 3rd birthday.
The site now lists access information for nearly 5000 places, and the founders have made changes to the way it works, so that reviewers can have more fun and make their visits more personalised.
Euan’s Guide is also the organisation behind Disabled Access Day, which is coming along from 10th – 12th March.
